bad commercial, bad!

If you watch TV I'm sure you're familiar with those Diet Dr. Pepper commercials who use their, "There's nothing diet about it" slogan to sell their soda. Now, maybe it's just me, but are they kidding?! "There's nothing diet about it" ..there is nothing diet about this diet soda, but in fact it is very un-diet. ...right? I mean that's what they're saying, aren't they? Their entire line of recent commercials is filled with play-ons of comparing the soda to cake, cupcakes, candy, anything unhealthy they can think of. So wouldn't it make more sense to say, "There is nothing diet about the taste"? and yes in fact this diet soda is truly a diet soda? but no.. there's just simply nothing diet about it! Come on Dr. Pepper! You can do better than that!
